Interesting photos emerged yesterday about the Ady Gil's encounters while trying to save whales near Antarctica. The below photo was beamed far and wide.
We saw the Ady Gil in the Hobart harbor (see our December 8 photo below) just days before it set course for Antarctica.
It will be interesting to see how the story develops ... initial news reports say the collision was captured on video by Animal Planet.
